Reverting Back

I’ve ditched WordPress 2.0.1. As a result, I lost the post I made last night. The gist of it was that Firefox 1.5.0.1 was released, and that you should update; just look at this list of changes!

  1. I’m with you on learning the new framework Jonah. I actually just picked up doing Firefox development in the last 2 weeks then we get this update to 1.5.0.1 and it blows up every little bit of what I’ve learned so far. If you would I would really appreciate hearing about your new tutorial when its done. I found the first to be the easiest and most informative to an individual totally new to this sort of development.

  2. Firefox 1.5.0.1, to my knowledge, should not have broken (or changed) any extension development features. The difference between 1.5.0.0 and 1.5.0.1 was pretty minor (mostly stability changes). If you are referring to the changes between 1.0.x and 1.5, then yes; things have changed a lot (although the old development mechanisms should still work).

I’m glad you enjoyed my tutorial! I hope to get the first two sections of the 1.5 rewrite posted to the public soon.
