Tropical Storm Hanna

Tropical Storm Hanna rolled through our area this past weekend, dumping large amounts of rain in its wake. The Eno River rose to 17 feet (the highest we've ever seen it), so my dad and I ventured out to take a look.

Festival for the Eno 2008

We visited the 29th annual Festival for the Eno this year (for the first time since I was 2 or 3), and had a great time.

Museum of Life and Science

A belated father's day outing to this fantastic museum in Durham, NC. Several newer exhibits have opened since our last visit, so we went to check them out.

NC Transportation Museum

Highlights from a Memorial Day weekend visit to the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Located near Spencer, NC, this museum is a really great place to visit. Train rides are available (you can even ride in the cab), and there's a lot of great history to be explored.

Valentine's Snowfall

Savannah in December

Hannah's Graduation
